AI Engineer and Software Developer

Built OpsMind, a Webex-native triage bot that reads PagerDuty incidents and pulls context via MCP connectors (OpenSearch logs, Prometheus, AWS/EKS) to produce deterministic, context-dependent remediation steps. Implemented in Python/FastAPI with an agent graph (LangGraph), integrating Circuit LLM / GPT for reasoning and tool use. In pilot runs, it cut time-to-first-action from ~10–15 min to ~1–2 min (≈5–10× faster) and standardized incident comms for the SRE team.

Kaigo

Founding AI Engineer

Kaigo is a generative AI-powered platform designed to improve elderly in-home care through caregiver matching, predictive health analytics, and AI assistants for daily support. It enhances accessibility, safety, and quality of care by using machine learning, NLP, and computer vision to detect risks, analyze caregiver notes, and personalize care plans. Early pilots showed faster caregiver matching and improved patient engagement, demonstrating its potential for scalable impact.

AI-Driven Traffic Management for LA28 Olympics

AI Researcher

Developed and published research on AI models to predict and manage traffic congestion for the upcoming 2028 Los Angeles Olympics. Built a hybrid system combining reinforcement learning, multi-agent frameworks, and GIS-based spatial analysis to optimize urban mobility, reduce pollution, and improve commuter safety. Findings were published through UCLA’s Summer Undergraduate Research Program (SPUR) and presented at the SPUR Conference, aligning with the city’s SmartLA2028 plan for sustainable, tech-enabled infrastructure.

BruinRent

Full Stack Software Developer

An AI-powered housing platform designed to simplify the apartment-hunting experience for UCLA students. By combining user research, property ratings, multimedia listings, and streamlined landlord updates, BruinRent addressed critical pain points like limited availability, poor transparency, and overpriced rentals. Grew to 3,000+ users and was ultimately acquired by UCLA Media, making it a trusted campus-wide solution.

Empowering Pantries. Nourishing Communities. Making Every Trip Count.

A student-built app that helps food-insecure communities and busy students track fridge inventory, reduce food waste, and discover personalized recipes. Using AI scanning and meal recommendations, ShelfMate made it easier to stretch limited budgets while improving nutrition. The project won 1st place at UCLA’s Demo Day, gained recognition at the Innovate@UCLA Executive Leadership Awards Dinner, and was designed to support 13,000+ UC students experiencing food insecurity.

AI Engineer and Business Developer

Sifted Co

At Sifted Co., I engineered a dynamic web platform leveraging Node.js, Express, Electron, AWS (ECS via Fargate), and RESTful APIs, which improved operational efficiency by 15% through PostgreSQL and Docker optimization. I also developed middleware to enable wide-open CORS and streamline client–server communication, while designing and integrating robust APIs. To ensure reliability and scalability, I set up automated testing frameworks with GitHub Actions and CI/CD workflows and delivered comprehensive technical documentation for the team.

Softly Solutions

At Softly Solutions, I applied NLP techniques such as BERT-based sentiment analysis and topic modeling to help CPG companies detect greenwashing risks and identify new sales opportunities. I also built predictive analytics pipelines and machine learning models to ensure compliance with sustainability claims, while providing actionable insights for both brands and consumers. This work enabled more transparent decision-making and strengthened trust in sustainability-driven markets.
